TE8802 (asynchronous DACs) on Linux and Squeezebox Touch supported? (With Triode's App for the SBT?)

I am also using Linux as my primary OS. I booked Audio-GD DI-DSP (with TE8802) while I don't want to use VMWARE to simulate a Win7 for playing music.   How is your NFB DAC going? Is it compatible with Linux or is there any dedicated driver?

    Audio-gd Digital Filter (flavor switch) for NFB5, NFB9, NFB10se, NFB3.1

Some comments I found on Internet: http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/archive/index.php/t-239298.html   "Try listening to some classical orchestral music and the differences between the filters should be a lot more obvious. For example, you should be able to observe the first violins...

    Audio-gd Digital Filter (flavor switch) for NFB5, NFB9, NFB10se, NFB3.1

Thank you for the point out.   copy the article here --> http://hifiduino.blogspot.com/2009/05/wm8741-digital-filters.html   WM8741 Digital Filters   One of the reasons I embarked to use Arduino to control the WM8741 DAC was because certain digital filters are only available...

    Audio-gd Digital Filter (flavor switch) for NFB5, NFB9, NFB10se, NFB3.1

Starting a new discussion for Audio-gd's digital filter which is also known as "flavor switch" for NFB5, NFB9, NFB10se, NFB3.1 Any comments / reviews and discussion is appreciated.     What's advantage of setting the digital filter characteristic: Except the NOS DACs , all DACs have...

    Audio-GD C2.1 vs C2SA

Yes, it has. But the ACSS output is already occupied by my amp - CIA400. Hence I would only consider the RCA output when connecting the DAC with the head amp.

    Audio-GD C2.1 vs C2SA

This thread is about asking for suggestions. I have an Audio-GD DAC19DSP, and would like to buy a full-size dedicated headphone amp, single end, under 400$. So considering I was very satisified with Audio-GD, I now have two choices: C2.1 and C2SA. C2.1...

Whats the difference between the Audio-gd C-2 and the C-2 SA?

Is there someone compared C2.1 with C2SA? Now the C2.1 has WIMA ~ which can be considered as an upgrade

Review: CharterOak Acoustics SP-1 (GMP 450 Pro)

Really good review. I am having a GMP450pro as well and loving it. I can say, in China ,there are a lot of people (who is considered as senior head-fiers) who loves GMP450 or QP450 as well.   It's also of good reputation when it's used in MIDI / professional zone. A very faithful headphone...

Review of the Audio-gd DAC-19 DSP & C2 amp - The ACSS connection

Good suggestion. I don't want to spend un-valuable since I need my penny on my camera system as well. I will stop my upgrade now and keep it for some while. Kingwa is a crazy man who drives me nearly mad for the excitement of each time's upgrade.

    Audio-gd NFB-10

Quote:  hmm, really agree. I am having the CIA400 to drive Audio-GD SP5. The bass is considerable a weak point --> compared to my Generic 1030a (2kUSD Monitor speakers with embed amp)  But the bass is very very clear.  It's just like a monitor headphone.

    Audio-gd NFB-10

I think I had asked the same silly questions before in another thread, still I am not too confident. Since the NFB10 is really powerful for its price. On the other hand, I wanted to buy a dac+amp combo was because I want to save one piece of power cable (which usually cost me about 100$ each)...

    Audio-gd NFB-10

I need some suggestions from you friends. especially the people who owned DAC19dsp+C2 and NFB10.   I am now having a DAC19dsp and I am really happy with its sound characteristic, compared to my previous FUN (I had both WM8740 and AD1852 -- with which I was not so satisfied.) Mean while I...

Review of the Audio-gd DAC-19 DSP & C2 amp - The ACSS connection

One quick query, I am going to buy a C2 headamp. But suddenly I am thinking why don't I buy a NFB10ES or NFB10WM? They are balanced and with new technique. Considering the cost is similar DAC19dsp + C2 = NFB10ES + USB DI. My headphone is German Maestro GMP450pro. I also I have CIA400s (may be ...

    Audio-gd Digital Interface

I might be asking a repeated question which has been queried before -->   According to http://www.audio-gd.com/Pro/dac/USBface/DSP3.JPG   1. What's the difference of setting SPDIF to active / inactive ? 2. For DI's output, since we see it as coaxial output to DAC, so it should always...

Is there any other comments? who did really compare those two amp? I am going to order C2 SA rather than C2 because my headphone is cold-sound.

Review of the Audio-gd DAC-19 DSP & C2 amp - The ACSS connection

here one more question:   I have a DAC19DSP now (with ACSS tech). Also I have a pair of  ACSS cable and a pair of RCA cables. Now I am going to buy a headamp. Could anyone one suggest --> which should I go for? The C2 with ACSS tech or the C2 SA without ACSS?   it is said that the...

Review of the Audio-gd DAC-19 DSP & C2 amp - The ACSS connection

I used to have the audio-gd's FUN which is a DAC+amp combo. Now I just got the DAC19dsp and I am going to get a C2 soon (maybe after March). Hope I can give some ideas here.

Audio-GD DI + NFB-1 vs NFB10ES vs NFB-11 vs Fun (asking for suggestion)

Quote:   hmm, many thanks! I did think about your suggestion very seriously. A/C to the consideration given, I bought a second-hand DAC19dsp for 485 USD locally, which I thought might be a good c/p deal. Audio-GD discontinued REF9 / DAC19dsp already. I don't want to go for es9018...
