I am also using Linux as my primary OS. I booked Audio-GD DI-DSP (with TE8802) while I don't want to use VMWARE to simulate a Win7 for playing music.   How is your NFB DAC going? Is it compatible with Linux or is there any dedicated driver?

not sure whether you went by this choice but I strongly recommended you just go! I swapped my FUN into DAC19DSP and wow I now experience a totally whole new world of sound!~

As I knew, the WM8805 is a promote one. 

I used to have the audio-gd's FUN which is a DAC+amp combo. Now I just got the DAC19dsp and I am going to get a C2 soon (maybe after March). Hope I can give some ideas here.
