To my ears the Taboo MKIV Lucid mode gives more prominence to the softer sounds in a recording.  Say a piano was further from the microphone than the drums.  In the recording the drums would be "louder" than the piano but if you heard the same music live all the instruments would be heard...

I listened to my Decware Taboo MKIV for the first time today.  It is a stunning piece of equipment.  Not just beautiful with the feel of quality workmanship but sonically gorgeous.     First listen was with ZMF Ori headphones and AK380 as the source. The new knob for adjusting the Lucid effect...

Yes.  Steve called me a few weeks ago and asked if I wanted to wait for the new mod.  It showed up today. No more input adjustments.  It now has dual volume control with a knob to adjust the level of lucid mode.

My Decware Taboo MK4 arrived today.  I am number six on the list with my Atticus and Eikon listed as burn-in.  Oh yeah.  I can see some good times ahead!

    Ordered a Decware Taboo a while back.  Hoping to take delivery about same time as my Atticus and Eikon! Christmas comes in February this year..or would that be next year?

+1  If it sounds good it is good!  Same deal with wine. I don't care what it cost.  If it taste good I drink it.  Otherwise, I drink it anyhow because I opened the bottle!

I should make this clearer.  I got an email from PayPal confirming the order but afterwards it did not allow me to go back to ZMF page.  I did not receive anything from ZMF confirming the order.

Ordered the Eikon padauk and the limited edition Omni with the zebra wood...just because it looks gorgeous.  Did anyone get an email confirming the order?

I have the PS1000.  It has excellent soundstage and bass.  It's just heavy and unruly to wear for long listening sessions.  Still waiting for my RS-1 to arrive.  

Anyone compared the RWAK100-S to the AK120.  I'm on the fence between buying the AK120 or sending my AK100 in for the S mod from Red Wine Audio.

I've used my Grace 902 with Edition 8s and it sounds excellent.  I personally cannot tell much difference between the 902 and 903 with the Ultrasone Edition 8 so I decided against upgrading to the 903.

I've sourced my Bryston BDP-1 with the WA7 dac through my home stereo and it was crisp and clear.  I did not do any comparisons, just enjoyed the music.

i've used V2 with AK100 and it sounds great.

I got the Woo Firefly today and it sounds wonderful with the PS1000. Still waiting for the RS-1 I ordered to arrive.  The whole setup looks good sitting on the desk.  Can't wait to compare the RS-1.
