How does this K3003 relate to the vintage AKGs?   AKGs reputation is founded on the fact that their older AKG had a certain sound signature. As such my K500 stays in my stable of headphones.  

The DT48S-5, the white S-version will be tested and measured by Anaxilus and Purrin. My DT48 was out of use anyway so we'll see what turns out...

Wait for decent reviews and just hope the hyped up price will turn south. When AKG goes Monster I'm better off buying a back up K181. Even the basic K67 is too pricey if you ask me and a second hand HD25 or DT1350 isn't a bad option either...
