well there's already the announcement of an updated 801 coming with more internal storage, maybe that will have some more changes, and a lower price point, as well.

Got a pair of custom IEM cables made a few weeks back, just burned in.  Very happy with the quality, I'd definitely order more.

Also, I had a custom made by Moon Audio; so far, so good.  I'd recommend them for the speed and quality of connections.

Hi all;   I'm deciding on the purchase of an 801, and I was wondering if there is a source of online schematics for building modular amps.  I'd like to see exactly what's involved with this, and can't seem to find the technical info anywhere.   thanks!

I ended up ordering the plugs from a supplier online and built my own.   It seems no one wants to make an uprated cable for such an awful product.  

If you are still within the paypal/credit card window for getting your money back, you might want to investigate those options.  I let too much time lapse and gave them too many chances, now I'm stuck.

Hi all! I've now gone through 2 (two) supplied Ear Peace cables in the last month. Does anyone know of a company that makes cables with the appropriate ends of any quality? I'm tired of sending these back and waiting 2 weeks for new cables; I'd rather pay for a quality cable. Any one? -P

Hello all! Curious, my rockboxed ipod 4g can't play ape files without a lot of skipping. All encoded forms of APE, not just the heavily encoded ones. I can't find anything elsewhere on the net about this. Has anyone else experienced this? Are there some crazy settings that would help...
