I am using the STX with Windows 8 without issue.  Getting it to work initially was a bear, but I found that was due to an incredibly out-of-date BIOS.  I have not had any problems related to OS with the STX.

That UE11 remake is on its way to me.  This is the first glimpse I have had of it.  So pumped!

Don't get too comfy Piotr...my re-shell project should be there soon.  I can't wait to see what you can do!

I had to sell all of the audio equipment I could to help my wife get her masters in teaching. I am using an old sound blaster. I would use the sound card with akg-k81dj's and the ue-5c's (that I couldn't sell for obvious reasons.) I really don't have a source that comes close to doing them...

definately agree that the boots are the mos important part. I would definately not recommend step-ins, but you might look at flow. I have recently noticed a similar issue with my UE5c. It is most dramatic where the cable passes over the ear. I think it is from the moisture that it absorbs, but I am not sure. I do not think it affects sound at all, it is just gross looking. Contacting UE about it can't hurt I guess.
