As the DAC has not been released yet, I cannot say for sure, but I do know that the DAC chip is the same as in both the MR1000 and MR2000s recorders so one might think that they would also use the same OP amps and it would basically sound the same. Dear M The Japanese data that I have does not differentiate between 2.8 and 5.6 Mhz when discussing Native DSD output. So, one would assume that Native DSD is only possible with Windows ASIO; they also specifically mention that ASIO has to be 2.1 or higher. I will try to confirm this for...- MA Recordings
