"Millett Hybrid" redux: NuHybrid headphone amp, using the Korg Nutube
I just replacead dact 21 type Volume pot to the stock volume pot, and replaced 551 with OPA827 from cimaron with adapter. and ofcourse i soldered that tini shht myself. and wow, what i like originaly about it is back and more of it.. but somehow the music seems rushed,.....the most wierdest...- zvovchik

Well, here is what my project ended up looking like. I installed a dact type 21 clone volume pot from ebay, but it made the sound too "tini" or thin, very V type EQ, going back to stock volume pot, as I like the more midrangy, thicker and smoother sound.- zvovchik

Added VU meters :) really liking how full and at same time delicate and holographic it sounds. I wonder how the Millett Sangaku or the "ballanced differential" sounds. Does it still retain the NuTubes sound or it's more solid statey? On a side note, I cant bias lower than 9.8v Would of liked to...- zvovchik

Just finished my NuHybrid build. Been listening for about an hour or two, the sound does change with burn in. Sounds quite nice with HD600, feeding it with Dacmagic. i hope it wil open up a bit after about 50hrs. The plan is to install it into enclosure. Lol the volume pot reminds me of "the war...- zvovchik

Ok that is getting closer to diagnose, have you experimented with "lifting ground" and/or have you resolved this? im thinking lift ground is not to connect the ground in the xlr interconnects to chasis or lift ground inside the amp? sorry i may need a bit more clarification. i have the little-do vi+ balanced amp...and for some reason mine has a hum or buzzing issue. i have sent it back to david and he sent it back saying the buzzing problem has been fixed and still it is there. it makes this noise when nothing is plugged in, the buss is there when using as preamp...- zvovchik
