Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread
I use different cables. Both 4,4mm and 6,3mm. For me and my ears, balanced adds only power (which I don’t really need, I don’t listen very loud) to the hp’s, no diff in sound quality. From the Z Dac V2 that is.- trentino

Same here, enjoying the Zen Dac V2 with my Sennheisers, with music and Switch/PS5 gaming and I have no idea how it measures and no upgrading plans. And I will probably add the HD660S2 to the family further down the road ☺️- trentino

Why in HELL would it be more appropriate to use high end gear for reviews? And why do I even bother.- trentino

Only the HD660S and S2 comes with extra 4,4mm cables now right? Not 600/650?- trentino

I sold my LCD2F and kept the 600/6XX/660 so I prefer that league. Different leagues, different sounds…and different weights 😂- trentino

Thanks, but it is in blue, blinking mode. I just can’t get it to blink blue/red and to appear visible in my iPhone.- trentino

iFi audio xDSD- The Official Thread
I cannot get the xdsd to work in bt mode. Been trying all day. The unit has never been paired via bt. From the manual, and specifically what doesn’t work on my unit: ”If a stored device is not found, it will automatically enter pairing mode (INPUT: Blue/Red blinking).”- trentino

Comment by 'trentino' on listing 'WTB: Audeze 4.4 cable'
Thanks, will look that up. But I’m not really into choosing colour 4 times and having 10 diff options for splitter and things like that. I guess I’m not into spending >300 Eur/$ on a cable. Just want a 4.4mm cable to get that power bump from the iFi stuff. I do appreciate your response though.- trentino

I’d like to buy an Audeze cable terminated to 4.4mm balanced. Not crazy expensive. Need it for my LCD-2 and the 4.4 hp out of iFi amps. Just got one cable from China/Ebay and it was crap. I’m in Sweden. Thanks.- trentino

Westone Signature W-series W50 & W60
My W3 broke 6 months ago and since Westone could not fix them it is time to buy a new pair of Westone iem's. I loved the dark bassy sound of the W3 and when I owned them I really felt I did not need any other iem (although I bought and tried many others before the W3, the entire Shure line and...- trentino

Nuforce HDP users with Mac Mavericks OS
I have tried only USB lately, but I have tried it with my MBP, the thunderbolt display and also with a pc laptop. I guess the USB chip died on me and that it has nothing to do with the upgrade to Mavericks OS. Time to look for a new desktop dac/amp :) Thanks for the response.- trentino

Nuforce HDP users with Mac Mavericks OS
Any HDP users out there with compability issues when using Mavericks OS? My HDP is dead silent now when I use Mavericks. I have read that Mavericks can mess up some stuff like nas transfer issues and other external dac's that does not work with the OS but I can't seem to find anything...- trentino
