I can't speak to where to listen to them, because I only listen to mine in the house so far. Are you worried about ambient noise bleeding in while listening? Sound curve is in my opinion V shaped but in a very good way. Bass is there, powerful and full, but not overpowering. Treble is just...

Well, I finally drank the Kool-aid and got these. Have the LC-RE 2022 pro on order. What's an acceptable amount of burn in for these?

I've been using the RU6 and it's a wonderful pairing. The Ifi Gryphon takes them to another level to be honest.

Odd, I use both with no misses at all.

I use the RU6 with the Timeless and it's a wonderful pairing. As @oldkid mentioned , play with the tips to get the fit and sound right for you

Tried foam tips? I found foam tips really toned down the upper range .

Are you referring to the curl at the end near the MMCX connector? That's pretty much how they all come. It's to fit around the ear.

Any further info on the SM vs Hook-x comparison? Seriously interested in the opinions.

You won't go wrong either way. The other thing I forgot to mention is that the Timeless scale very well with better sources. During the week I had them plugged into a KA3, RU6, and my Gryphon and it was incredible how much better they sounded with better sources.

Well, it's been a week with the Timeless as pretty much the only thing I listened to. Gave them about 50 hours of burn in, swapped the stock cable for a graphene cable and played with tips. I am utterly blown away with how good these things sound. Just cannot believe I only spent a few hundred...

Which ones are those? I'm currently using the st9ck clear tips with the black centre tubes. OK seal but not enough environmental isolation for my liking.

Just got my Timeless in last night and am letting them burn in for a bit. Any recommendations for a foam tip for these as I prefer the fit over silicon

Lol..... actually never listened to a planar in my life. Thought I would go out and try something completely new and different. Looking forward to tomorrow when they arrive.
