I was in a similar situation, and I got some Shure Olives. Mediums fit pretty well. Very comfortable, good sound quality/isolation, and above all, much more durable than complys.

I'm not sure why people are suggesting a $3-400 IEM to replace a $100 IEM that he plans on sweating into... =/ RE0's seem like they'd work well for you. I personally just run in a throwaway pair of EP-630's, though. Either way, you'd best be served by something with good silicone...

Westone 3 can be found used for ~$250USD and it sounds like it could fit you well.

RE0 is a straight plug so I'm 90% sure it works fine.

If you're looking for comfort/fit, the Westone UM1's are extremely comfortable and have good sound quality. Same if you want to try the RE0's, or maybe even the Klipsch Custom 2's. Varies based on the sound signature you want.

Hey, I'm using Complys with my recently acquired UM2's right now, and the normal (long) tips that come with it fit me fine. I want to switch to Olives to avoid durability issues with the complys, however. Does anyone with experience using both the complys and olives know which size of olives...

Well, they were $130 on Amazon for a few weeks but it seems like they're back up to $300 now.

I'd imagine that you put them in whichever way makes the most sense in your ear. If it doesn't fit one way, twist it the other way and put it in.

S4i sounds identical to the S4 afaik. Another option is the etymotic hf2 if you like the ety sound signature. They're ~$135 on Amazon.com

The lower-end shures are regarded poorly here. I don't have personal listening experience with either (er4p's yes, er6i's no) but if you deal with a slightly bass-light set of phones the er6i's will suit you fine. Alternatively you can grab the RE2's with a similarly neutral/cold sound signature...

The UM1 has superior microphonics, isolation, and maybe durability. Their sound is more warm/fun-sounding than the RE0's, which are very cold/analytical. The RE0's benefit a lot with amping from all reports. It's a toss up IMO.

You can grab the Custom 3's for ~$125USD off Amazon.com...not too sure exactly how that translates to CDN but it should be less. I've heard of microphonics/cable issues with the custom 3's though, so ymmv.

I doubt you can get "chest thumping bass" from IEM's since that sensation is from a woofer...that is, the sound waves are literally hitting your chest/gut. At least taht's my understanding.

Look at the UM2's. They have a really full-bodied sound and fairly powerful bass.

sleeves as in custom tips? That wouldn't be too bad.

If you need to, you could possibly give them drivers from a higher-end IEM and have some really nice cheap customs.
