Since the Carbon was introduced no major new mini-HD player was introduced, soundquality-wize (personal!) it still outperformes the H10, Micro and Mini. It lacks features, but if SQ is your major consern: it holds out fine!

I tested a G3 next to a iFP 799 and I can say without hesitation that the Iaudio G3 is a much better player than the Iriver. The build-quality is much better, at least it doesn't crack when you squeeze it a little like all Iriver players Second is the battery-life that doesn't drop as...

I guess that the Carbon is the right choice for you. The H10 might be the most complete player at this point, but since you don't care that much about Radio, Recording and a Colour Screen I think the batterylife, the design and the price are for the Carbon.
