    The click is probably the smart hinge. I wouldnt worry about it. There are are a coue of torx bit screws in there when the hinge is bent, maybe give them a tighten.

    The DX50 definitely makes a distinct pop sound when switched on and off, it sounds like something clicking within the unit so I am guessing this is a relay and not something that can be fixed in firmware updates.

    I would be wary of tweaking the headband, it feels like it would snap rather than changing shape. Tbh, my head is pretty narrow but i havent had any issues with the KEFs falling off my head, they feel a little wobbly if i move fast but they have never fallen off.
