Quote: I haven't ordered anything yet but I think I'll go for Switchraft rather than Neutrik. Look sleeker :D It's a shame that it's so hard getting Viablue in UK :[- quane

DIY Cable Gallery!!
For my first project I'll keep it simple (I was initially going to go ahead and make a full re-cable but then I realised that I seriously don't need a new cable) and I'll just add a sleeve and new plug on my RX900's so I need some help. Could anyone suggest where to get Viablu and/or...- quane

Gaming Headphones
I've just gotten the RX-900 and first impressions are disappointing. Shallow, distant and just bad sound. Mind you, they have had NO burn-in so this is more than likely down to that (I remember seeing that these headphones are very burn-in dependant). I'll update my thoughts after a...- quane

Gaming Headphones
Settled on the RX900 because of comfort issues. Haven't ordered them yet but will do within the coming week and I'll give my opinion once I get them.- quane

Difference between Klipsch X1 and S2?
This is a bit of a stupid thread but I couldn't find any information anywhere. Are they the same model or what? They look exactly the same but are sold as 2 different products. Both cost £17.99 @ Amazon, which is why I'm going to grab a pair. Just not sure which one to go for. ...- quane

IEM suggestions (low budget)
Wow, thank you. Then the SF4's are a definite no-no. And I haven't seen the thread but while I realise that I could get a variety of decent IEM's for this price, I want particularly want the 220's sound signature or something similar. And thanks a lot for the great effort you put in but I can't...- quane

IEM suggestions (low budget)
So, I'm in a need of a new pair of IEM's since my current UE 220's cable is becoming really bad (so you have to hold it in a certain position for the sound to work properly). I cannot describe how much I loved the sound signature, bass etc of these in-ears. It was just perfect but while I need a...- quane

Gaming headphone choice.
G35 are like 65 - 70 quid which is acceptable but since 7.1 is a gimmick in games (Stereo all the way) then there's no real need for it and apparently they're not the comfiest either :P- quane

Gaming headphone choice.
Quote: Yeah I thought about that and decided that I won't bother getting some 1337 headphone + mic when I can just buy some generic gaming headset and it will do me good.- quane

Gaming headphone choice.
I'm not sure if people read the original post or just randomly post their favourite gaming headphones, the price range is £80 where AD700's and DT770 both cost more than £80 and I don't see the point in paying more but since your American, I guess it's forgivable. I NEED a mic integrated...- quane

Gaming headphone choice.
So, essentially a question that has been asked so many times that I've lost count however everyone's a little different. So, I'm in the market for a new headset (that will be used for gaming only). In the past I've owned a variety of headphones/headsets and a lot of Sennheisers and...- quane

[Possible] Bargain Alert : UE Metro.Fi 220vi for £18
Sorry for the necro-posting but these are genuine. I ordered them from Play the other day and they arrived yesterday and my god, what a superb, superb set of earphones. The price is un-beatable and when I first plugged the 220's in my iPod I just felt like jizzing (pardon my rudeness). And when...- quane

Which ones - UE MetroFi 220, CX300 or CX500?
Think I might go for the UE even though most people said to go for CX300. Somehow UE just seem to be more of a bargain and better, dunno why though- quane

Which ones - UE MetroFi 220, CX300 or CX500?
Those ****tin' bricks about the price - I would get all 3 of these from play.co.uk as all 3 headphones are on sale. Also, big thanks to everyone for your contribution.- quane

Which ones - UE MetroFi 220, CX300 or CX500?
So I got a choice between the three of these headphones, all of them are around the same price (<3 play.co.uk) since UE are £18 while CX300 and CX500 are £15. Will be used with iPod Classic 80GB (2007 if I recall correctly) and my main music style is Trance (99% of my music is) so Bass is...- quane

Speaker Stands?
I thought about what could I use and thought of using the stuff you get when you buy electronics (the white stuff that's usually put around the gear so it doesn't dent/smash etc) and I shall try using these and hopefully I will get the effect I wanted. -
Speaker Stands?
I do realise that this is a huge headphone forum but still, I know there are some fella's with speakers so I thought I might come out with the question anyway. So the problem is that I have M-Audio AV-40's and they're sitting on both sides of my monitor but the tweeters aren't at my ear level...- quane

Behringer MS-40 vs. M-Audio AV-40
M-Audio 40's are amazing, got them today. And the bass on them is alright, obviously not as good as with sub but still - plenty Currently listening to some Hardstyle just to do a slight bass test and I can feel vibrations on my table and the floor Thanks for everyone's opinion.- quane
