Could have something to do with females typically having a higher voice than males, and your cans sounding a bit better in that upper middish range than a bit lower where male voices usually fall. I'm no scientist or anything so don't take me too seriously, just what I can gather.

Another option you have is to pick up a used sextett, they go for sale here from time to time, usually only run around $100usd too.

The problem is the whole front of it is just the touch screen, so I can't really wrap anything around the front.

foobar2000 on windows, exaile on linux, I love foobar for its more or less sandbox of a layout.

Seasonic makes good PSUs, I'd suggest looking at reviews for 500w PSUs on newegg, theres a budget 500w apevia on there that's not too shabby (I have one that's been running fine for almost 2 years)

- IEM for discreet public use - Portable mid size pair (for me the sr60, most likely upgrading soon) - circumaural for home listening - cheap buds/iem for throwing around/laying around if needing something to listen to So at least 4 I'd say, maybe 5-6 if you like to have a setup at work or...

The E5 helps a nice bit with grado sr60s, and for curiosity i even used it with my akg K240s, it helped those from the D2 even more, definitely something to look into for a budget portable rig.
