updating to the latest win11 + OBS version seems to finally fix this issue !

update : the issue seems to be fixed now, I'm currently on windows 10 version 21H1 19043.1202 for reference. EDIT : nah, I just forgot to turn on the 7.1 mode in windows control panel :/

recent windows updates have made the device unuseable for OBS studio / streamlabs :frowning2: everytime I try to capture audio1 ( GSX main audio ) + audio2 ( GSX earphone ) + microphone input something breaks, microphone input stops working and/or audio1 craps out there are some problems...

there's some kind of filter when streaming non MQA files without bothering to toggle the MQA flag on UAPP, you can easily tell by trying to switch from "sharp" to "slow" at the same time ... adjusting settings on the fly should directly affect the audio playback unless the phone's MQA decoder...

this is more serious than I thought it would be :/ a smart MQA flag auto-toggle would be very convenient for us UAPP users - I don't like the way UAPP sounds with the MQA flag enabled while streaming non MQA files ...

playing MQA tracks on the tidal app of my LG v40 (android 9) does not the trigger the hardware MQA decoder for some reason ... ( I can notice by changing from "sharp" to "slow" filter on the fly ) any solutions ? right now I'm forced to use the UAPP + MQA flag combination for the actual...

a thorough A/B comparison with the GSX 1000 7.1 amp would be really nice !! I made the switch this year from mini ITX to micro ATX so ... :) we're talking about games/movies now, the immersion factor and/or soundwhoring capabilities of this card have to be tested ASAP :D

V30 owner here, I just received the pie update yesterday, do I have to uncheck the MQA flag as well in order to avoid resampling ? my tidal library is like 70% flac 30% MQA, manually toggling the flag on/off can get tedious.

I've been using UAAP recently on my LG V30 along with sensitive IEMs ( FIIO FH1 ) and Tidal FLAC streaming sounds fantastic (as expected) not sure about the audio quality when streaming MQA though ... is this behavior normal ? https://imgur.com/a/FcMKn25 I think that tidal offline MQA...

love my V30 so much ! especially when I plug in a pair of DT770/80s :) the resampling distortition aritfacts are definately audible when using sensitive IEMs tho ... bought a pair of fiio FH1s recently and this phone does not do them justice if you don't follow the cslinux guide first ...

I use 80% volume (gsx)+ high gain (fiio K5)+ 2 o'clock actually, there's still a bit of headroom

there's a serious difference between USB hi-speed 2.0 and full speed 2.0, you can always buy the more expensive isolator ( costs like 60 euros more ) if you need more bandwidth and/or power, the 7.1 signal test works fine in windows for what it's worth, I do not have much time these days...

I tried without the K5 amp, there's no audible hum when doing the same test, but then again the signal is not loud enough even @ 99% master volume , my dt770/80 pros need more power, that's why I bought this amp in the first place ! as said before, the more I push my system the worse it gets...

Yep, i use no sidetones and the buzz is less pronnounced when my framerate is capped to 30fps ! the d link hub changed nothing so trying that usb isolator is probably my last attempt to solve this issue b4 getting another DAC and calling it a day.

update : tried everything except the first experiment because I don't have a functioning external usb hub available at the moment, sennheiser updater reports that I already use the 14/2/2018 firmware, which is the latest one as it says ... the low frequency hum is not that...
