I mean the bottle head. The bottle head looks like a low quality amp to my eyes.- youngGeezeh

REVIEW - Yulong Audio Sabre DA8 Reference DAC
Why would you use a cheapy low quality amplifier on the HD800. And why not just go with the bottle head crack if you are going to use it.- youngGeezeh

REVIEW - Yulong Audio Sabre DA8 Reference DAC
TO ME, I dont think its worth 1,299 for something that is exactly like the yulong d18, its probably sound same. Not worth it to pay extra for small screen and usb audio technology.- youngGeezeh

On Hi-Fi headphone recommendations - rant / digression / question.
I have to disagree with you on a number of things here. If you honestly believe the HD800 arent capable of bass levels you can actually feel, you couldnt be more wrong here. In terms of bass and its comparison-given you mentioned beats, the HD800 are capable of showcasing bass far superior in...- youngGeezeh

This statement leans far more closer to the truth than anyone else's ridiculousness. Lets take the HD800 for example, its a headphone I have and Im sure many of us here are quite familiar with its bad reputation. Things like "HD800 is horrible with pop and rock music, its much more designed for...- youngGeezeh

The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
Thank you for the input you have given me. Theres a pretty large price difference between the 2, it also appears that the Matrix amp isnt on the same level of the A18 according to the review. The A18 doesn't appear to be available used in the trade section either.- youngGeezeh

Looking for an inexpensive tube amp
I was hoping you would say no. That way I can just be happy with my LCD3. Im seriously just about to sell off these HD800.. I didnt think too much about the kind of money if have to spend around this headphone..Doing that to the LCD3 alone nearly had me on the streets. The HD800 appears to be...- youngGeezeh
