I absolutely love my X1's, but they do bleed on everything I set them on. Ruined a couple of sheets and documents that way. I just make sure that I put them back on their stand or in a case when I'm done listening for the day.

Yep, that's what I use. The cable is very high quality and looks nice. I chose a red/black (interleaved) color cable. In hindsight, I should have gone for a grey/black color combo to match the rest of my equipment, red looks a little weird on a black/silver headphone.

Yes, you will very much enjoy that combination. These headphones are extremely easy to drive. They're 32 ohms so you wont have any problems powering them off of a computer, or a cellphone/iPod for that matter..
