    My first Proline2500 impression.

You really need to burn the hell out of the Ultrasone Pro/Proline before you can give a good assessment of them. My Pro 750's have around 250 hours of burn in, and they're amazing. Wonderful bass, excellent treble, and amazing soundstage. Give the 2500's at LEAST 100 hours of burn in.

    Poll: Who Owns SE530's or Triple.Fi's ?

I've been enjoying my Triple.Fi's for the past weeks immensely. I must have had a bad seal the first few times I tried them, but now I'm loving them. I purchased the Comply 400 tips, but honestly, I don't like how they change the sound signature. They roll the treble off a little too much, as...

sennheiser cx300 vs. ultrasone 750 vs. bose quietcomfort 2

You might be alright with that compression. I've not used that source before, but I can definitely tell the difference between a lossless/original file and a heavily compressed one. The Pro 750's also require a LOT of burn-in time before they sound good. And by a lot, I mean OVER 150 hours. So...

sennheiser cx300 vs. ultrasone 750 vs. bose quietcomfort 2

I'm not sure where to begin here, CDBongo. If you've done any searching on head-fi you'll begin to see very quickly that most Bose headphones aren't seen as quality items. Especially not for their price. You're trying to compare $35 earbuds to $400 professional monitoring headphones to...

    IE40/Triple.fi... is it just me....??

I'm very glad that I decided to get the UE Triple.fi 10's instead of another pair of IE-40's. I know that they're supposed to be identical save the coloring. But to me, even the accessories seemed slightly cheaper-feeling. The silicone buds seemed cheaper on the m-audio version, as did the cord...

SE530 vs Triple fi 10 pro? (not a repetitive thread)

Personally, I like the TF10 Pro because of the mids (as well as the highs). It's very important to me to have a full range of sound, from bass to high treble. That's why I like the TF10, and that's why I'm really starting to like the Ultrasone Pro 750. Both are speaker-esque, which is good for...

    There's Something About Ultrasone…

I decided to give the 750's a whirl tonight as a monitoring headphone. I use Reason 4.0 and Logic Studio for my soft-synths when I compose music. And even though the 750's are still in the middle of their burning in process, I wanted to hear what these things were designed to do--professional...

    Sony MDR-V6 / V7

I'm not familiar with the V7, but I do own the MDR-7506, which is (arguably) the same headphone as the V6. And you can purchase that headphone through just about any pro-audio dealer. They're one of the industry standards in audio and video production. Personally I would say just get the 7506...

    There's Something About Ultrasone…

Okay... so, my Pro 750's have a little under 100 hours of burn-in to them. I have been using mostly pink noise, and shuffled in a little bit of the Ultrasone CD that came with the cans. I decided to give it a listen for a few minutes to hear the progress. I listened to something I know very...

NOW DEAD BACK TO $399__Ultimate Ears Triple.FI 10 pro IEM $269.99

You know, you guys could buy from ecost... or you could buy from Full Compass, an actual pro-audio store that has a brick-and-mortar element, for roughly the same cost. Oh, and I'm pretty damn sure the IEM's will be in perfect shape the first time.

    RS1 Owners

I had a pair of RS-1's and i very regrettably had to sell them at the time for cash. I loved the HD650's when I had them, but I was obsessed with my RS-1's. Such a lush sound, handmade in the USA, WOOD(!!!), sorta like a cult object. I had them with an Arcam CD73, and a Perreaux SXH1. Audio...
