Koss KSC75's. Dont Forget This Giant Killer in all the ''Hidden Gem'' Hype.

Looks incredible! I just bought the black Massdrop version and honestly they look 9000% better on my head than the old silver. They look EXPENSIVE with those mods! This is exactly what the KSC needed to elevate them to true legendary status! That crappy cord connection was always the Crux. I'll...

Now, many years later, graced by the audio god's Zeos' Approval! 17:04. I'll let Zeos speak for himself :3

    i-Fi SPDIF iPurifier impressions

Received my SPDIF iPurifier two days ago. Have been burning it in with my Modi Multibit DAC non-stop sense they were unboxed. Didn't bother to listen to them without burn in.   Listened today and I noticed a noticeable noise coming from my headphones when no music was playing. My audio chain...

Happy as a Pig in Schiit: Introducing Modi Multibit

Something interesting- my batteries died in my JDS Labs Cmoy, and I happened to have a RCA to 3.5mm Female adapter cable on hand.   I plugged my Meze Audio 99 Classic Headphones directly into the DAC, and the DAC alone easily drives the headphones to louder levels that I never use!

    i-Fi SPDIF iPurifier impressions

Unfortunately I'm still waiting for it to ship from Music Direct. I saw other stores had them in stock but I only buy audio equipment through authorized dealers. I'll be sure to post impressions as soon as I have a hold of it!

Happy as a Pig in Schiit: Introducing Modi Multibit

I'm going to contact Schiit and see if they'all take a recommendation at creating a super low jitter, super clean, ARM processor computer to create the digital signals for their DAC's. Seems like their is a lot of interest in low jitter, bit perfect computers and it would be a perfect spot to...

Happy as a Pig in Schiit: Introducing Modi Multibit

It's funny you mention this because I was also looking at buying a Raspberry Pi3 with a HiFiBerry + to use TOSLINK out with Tidal.

Happy as a Pig in Schiit: Introducing Modi Multibit

Only if you're talking about USB. TOSLINK and COAX are virtually identical regardless of source- aslong as output is bit perfect. It's also awesome that TOSLINK and COAX from the same source will measure 99.9% the same, regardless of cable quality. Minor differences do exist, but they are so...

Happy as a Pig in Schiit: Introducing Modi Multibit

You won't have to do anything other than set the audio output in your PC to SPDIF/TOSLINK out. Nothing is being converted in the onboard dac. The digital music signal/bits gets "written" into digital optical bits, and is sent through the fiber optic cable where it is received and "read" and then...

Happy as a Pig in Schiit: Introducing Modi Multibit

I just wanted to chime In and let people know that you really should be using TOSLINK with Modi MB. I'm not blowing smoke on unsubstantiated claims. Here are measurements made. The difference between USB and TOSLINK is extreme in some measurements, including jitter; not to mention free galvanic...

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Its good to know that I'm not the only one having this issue!   I'm going to get into contact with Audioquest and post an update here on if this is a known issue.

New Dragonfly Black and Red Discussion

Hello all!   I just received a Dragonfly Red and although it sounds fantastic, I'm having a really odd problem with it.   While playing music it will intermittently produce digital sounds. What i mean by this is obvious digital problems, I'm not talking about making the music sound bad, but...

    Nervana: Neurotransmitter stimulating IEM's?

They should just make an app and sell it for $5. Teens will flock to the "legal high", media will blow things out of proportion just like they did with binaural beats; they will get tons of free advertising and rake in boatloads of money. If not, someone else will
