Just want to say thanks again David!   The LCD-2 just came out on top of the HD800 to my ears - I don't have the money to support the HD800 like it truly needs, but it is quite difficult to build a good rig around the HD800...  

Should have waited! I'm selling my HD650. Absolutely no reason to keep them now I have my LCD-2.   Everything I love about the HD650, the LCD-2 do better. Even better than the HD800 which I will also be selling!

I have found the HD650 magical too... I went from my Beyer DT880 to the HD650 and there is something about the latter that just... works.   But I've also since ordered the HD800 and LCD-2.   This place induces a horrific case of upgraditis.  

I've decided to move up from the HD650, and found it very difficult to pick between the LCD-2 and HD800...   So I went with both. The LCD-2 for the musicality that people often express, the HD800 for the detail and soundstaging...   I guess I'll have to sell one when I decide which works...
