So my Merlins came into day and they sound fantastic, only thing is the fit isnt...It's literally horrid. I dont know what went wrong but unless im in the exact position i had my impressions taken, (mouth and body) im very discomforted by my ciem. Iv contacted UM about it no response yet but...

 

       

Would this be compatible with the Leckerton Audio UHA-6S.MKII?  Just wondering if anyone has tried it before i jailbreak my phone to use it .

Hey i stumbled upon this and im in about the same situation,  I recently ordered some UM Merlins CIEM, i also have a pair of Beyer DT880's 250ohm and Senn IE80s.  Im looking for a good tube Desktop amp under $500 that has low enough noise and impedance to drive my 12ohm headphones. 

where did you find the article about the recabling on both sides? i'm thinking about do thing the same thing to mine. almost literally the same mods, currently im in a small competition at my high school to prove to everyone that i can take $50 and turn it into something better than those $400+...

Oh i know, a big whole ordeal at the audiologist with how i was getting my impressions back to me left them sitting on his desk for a month .  Hopefully it comes back fitting well because i think another ship to china would kill me haha
