I briefly tested JPlay with A6 Master and to my ears Tidal from the Eversolo app sounded better than from the JPlay and better than Tidal Connect from MacOs. Do you use Tidal? Did you test the Eversolo app with Tidal?

When I swap USB with Optical/Toslink I hear better colors/timbre but reduced impact and dynamics. I would love to have both.

Hello everyone, I just swapped my MyBookAir with Eversolo A6 Master Edition and I can hear substantial improvement. That makes me wonder what would be even better streamer/transport to use with Dave. Eversolo A8? Lumin U2? Auralic Aries G2.1?

Yes, the text goes either from the plug to the rest of the cable (OUT from DAC) or from the cable to the plug (amp IN).

I think the direction may be the direction of the letters on the plugs.

Same experience here - those masterings have very good dynamics but too harsh highs. Some voices are "sybilant" - eg. with artificially accented "s" sounds. It makes it unpleasant to listen for longer periods.

What RCA IC would you recommend for Dave->Enleum->Susvara setup? I am looking for something with good tonal differentiation of instruments / good timbre.

Try installing an older app version form the .apk file. The version number that works well with DX220 Max was mentioned earlier in this thread.
