well thats just sad, ive just realize that the preamp out is a line-level preamp out so the volume knob cant be used as a passive attenuator, which makes the deckard 100% useless with studio monitor

dac = digital to analog conversion adc = analog to digital conversion   your interface already has both   and your monitor are only 50w, they arent suppose to be super loud but just in case you should check if the volume it turned to +6dB on the back of each monitor
