Do you mean between the HE-5LE and the HE-500? Well, the HE-500 is quite a bit heavier, and in my experience is better in almost every way to the HE-5LE. Is the difference huge? No. But it is noticeable. 

I have both the HE-5LE and HE-500 and have only used ss amps, and I wouldn't ever describe the highs as 'tiring'...

Thanks for sharing these reviews. I've been waiting 4 weeks for my DA11 to arrive, and I've just learned it may take another 2 weeks. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.
