Just got my DT770/250's in the mail today! Right off the bat, i was a bit dissapointed. I hooked them up to my PC Tower just for kicks and listened to some music and did comparisons between it and the Sennheiser HD595's. Now, the DT770's sound stage was flat, eveything felt subduedand there...

I can get the DT770/'80ohms' for $150, or there's the 250hz version going for $220 including shipping. Still confused on the mixed reviews about the sound leaking, some state that it's incredibly minimal while others are saying the complete opposite.... If i had to, i'd opt for the K550's but...

I've read mixed opinions on the DT770's in regards to the sound leakage. In terms of sound how would you rank the 3 you mentioned? I was set on getting the DT770's but a few reviews noted that they do in fact leak a quite bit of sound to the point where you can hear in the next room.

As of now, I own a pair of Sennheiser HD595's which i absolutely Adore. The sound that they produce is absolutely amazing. BUT i no longer have the desire to use them for gaming(Total NintenFreak here hehe) because of the ridiculous amount of sound leakage which isn't exactly ideal considering...

Do the 595's crackle 'bass-wise' when you're rocking at high volumes through your amp? That's one of the problems I've always had with my HD555's for certain movies, Bluray especially! Also wouldn't modding the 555's by taking out the foam make the cans leak even more sound from the outisde?
