I Have a few questions about headphone amplifiers!

Headphone for home use (movies, music, gaming)

Beyerdynamic DT990's are a fun headphone, great for movies, games, music that depends on what genre you listen to, they can be purchased from Amazon for 190$, they are open back so isolation will not be the best..with the 60$ savings I would recommend picking up an amp if you don't have one...

    Ultrasone Pro 900 Impressions Thread

I currently own Hfi 780's, I am considering upgrading to the Pro 900's. Anyone here have experience with both cans that could share any key differences between the two cans?    Sound and comfort are my two main concerns.    Thank you all in advance for any feedback.

First High End Pair of Headphones

Recommend Ultrasone Hif780's they are portable (fold) sound great unamped (portable amp will really make these shine) and are in your budget. Amazon sells them for $160-200 regularly. Leaving you with enough to grab a portable amp...E7 or E17. This provides you with great sounding headphones...
