A friend of mine has a dragonfly red but wants more output for his 600ohm cans. would it be ok for him to get a decent headphone amp and hook this up in-line with this dac? will there be any sound quality issues since he'll be technically double amping the signal? Thank you very much :)

Thanks for that, i wont be cranking the bass up high or anything like that. i just may end up turning it up a notch or two.   I have been looking on Oppo's site for Refurbished ones and one finally popped up today. Is it worth the $80 in savings by getting the Refurbs over brand new ones? 

I think ive decided to go with the PM-3's and ill EQ the low end frequencies. Im more of a Modiophile  thats why im EQ'ing.
