Which to buy first GS-1000 or WA6SE
Eventually I plan on getting both, but at the moment I can only afford one. So my question is which one should I buy first? I already have the HD580 and a total bithead from headroom so either I have really nice cans on a budget amp, or I have a really nice amp but have to wait to pair it with...- TheGhostBelow

Buckethead's solo in Jordan is the best solo ever recorded.
To go back to the original question, while I don't know all that much about bass playing I would say that Victor Wooten soloing Amazing Grace means a lot more to me and is more impressive than Buckethead. (Ducks for cover)- TheGhostBelow

I am going to have to go with, Porcupine Tree/ In Absentia "Collapse the Light into Earth" as my choice, it is an absolutely amazing song that not only finishes the album but is the song to end the day with I think. I play that song driving home at 3 or 4 in the morning getting ready to sleep...- TheGhostBelow

Number of active head-fi members declining?
I know that I am a lurker and I rarely even go the the equitment forums anymore and just stay in the music and members lounge (I am strapped for cash right now). But I would just like to point out that everybody who thinks that head-fi is headed downhill while they maybe techniquely right they...- TheGhostBelow

The "dirty little secrets about your work" thread
My friend worked at an ice cream joint and I don't want to even start with what they did. The worst is that they would use the same equiment for peanut butter ice cream and regulare ice cream without cleaning it. Considering that some people are so allergic to peanuts that they can't even smell...- TheGhostBelow

Dating in High School
Now that you have a date here is my advice 1. Have fun and don't try and force things and just let what ever happens happen (within your limits of coarse) 2. Oh and if you plain on actually dating make sure she has sane parents first- TheGhostBelow
