Is there a Fiio e17 vs Digizoid ZOFS+ comparison out there?
So I've been using the e17 for about two years now and I really love it, but I've recently started listening to more bass-oriented music and occasionally even the +10 bass setting isn't enough especially if I'm using my GR07's. I'm just wondering if anyone has done a comparison between these...- Thankful1

FiiO E17 "ALPEN" - First Impression + Final Thought
I tried it with two different aux cables and different sets of headphones to no avail, but after draining and then recharging the battery it's working normally again. I actually forgot there's a reset button I could've tried because I've never had to reset it before - I still don't know for...- Thankful1

FiiO E17 "ALPEN" - First Impression + Final Thought
The aux cable in my E17 snagged on the corner of a table the other day and now I'm only getting sound through one ear. The metal ring on the inside of the aux input had already fallen off a long time ago - not sure if that has anything to do with it . Has anyone had any issues with their E17...- Thankful1

This performance gets me every damn time. The album version has much better SQ but this performance is just the best. -

This guy mashed up Madvillainy with a bunch of different Dilla beats. It's well worth a listen if you're a fan of either or both. full mix: https://soundcloud.com/djskarface/maddillainy-full-mix Figaro = Won't Do https://soundcloud.com/djskarface/figaro-wont-do -
VSonic GR07 Bass Edition Impressions
Can anybody tell me if it's possible to order replacements for the little rubber guys that hold the cable behind your ears? I lost one while running to catch a plane the other day and now the left one will not stay behind my ear for the life of me. I don't understand how people use these...- Thankful1

VSonic GR07 Bass Edition Impressions
Just cracked mine open, unfortunately my computer recently broke so I'm using the iPad/pod for now. They sound good with the e17 but I'm hoping there will be less sibilance with the dac working. I listen to a fair mount of bass oriented music so I bumped the e17's bass switch up one notch but...- Thankful1

Rap Sucks
I love old/school as much as the next guy but people need to stop sleeping bc there have been a whole bunch of great releases this year, and half of them are free mixtapes: rare chandeliers & blue chips - action bronson (prod. by the alchemist and party supplies respectively) 1999 -... -

hd25-1 impressions thread
Quote: I phrased that question poorly so forget the bit about about bass; my main concern is getting rid of sibilance usually caused by compressed drums/vocals and most 808 hats/snares. Bringing out the mids would be equally appreciated - is there a good $200-$300 portable amp that can do...- Thankful1

hd25-1 impressions thread
Has anybody used both the E17 and Zo2 with HD25's? I have the E17 right now but I'm looking for something that will soften up snares/hi-hats and add a bit of bass for hip/hop.- Thankful1

Headphones for running and the gym, suited for trance and rap music?
PX-100 and Porta-Pro ($40) are good for running because you can hear your surroundings, the Porta will stay secure on your head a bit better though. The AKG K81DJ is slightly bigger but sounds much, much better for those genres bc it's closed-back instead of open (more bass), it's also really...- Thankful1
