Are you UK based?   If so, I'd give the Monitor II amp and dac a look at. Really high quality stuff, extremely neutral and work wonders with the HD650s. As it's a two man business in the UK not many people on head-fi know about them.

Honestly, I prefer it that way. From what I've read, it's extremely neutral. What you put in is what you get out.   I'm not too fond of the amp altering my sound. I'd rather change the headphones. This sounds perfect for me, honestly.   Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
