Armaegis I do hope you know the IE8 sits quit shallow in the ear canal. In my case this is the situation with the IE8. They let through more sound than one would expect and I have tried alot of tips on the IE8 yet none would isolate sufficient.

Swallowing the wax would just be gross. I just suck it out of the little grill. It stays on the grill then I gently scrape it off with a very thin needle, making sure I don't push it back.   And is this really that bad for the driver? If so I will stop doing this instant.

Well I did solve the Imbalance problem. But will regular alcohol clean the wax? And would I just dip it in the alcohol for a bit and keep it upside down?
