Out of the box x2 had muddy and bassy sound. Now after 30h of burn-in the sound is much more clear and accurate. I don't know what coming next, maybe nothing. Previuse X1 I had to burn for about 140h, and most changes comes after 60-70h. Brain also have to burn-in but that is another story. :)

I think you can use Digizoid ZO 2.3 as a preamp, and The Wire amp as power gain. Or simply buy Digizoid FS but i don't know if this will work for hd650, probably yes, only guess
