knife-fi?
Quote: And i approve your edc :D. I'm in a similar situation with my 705-02. It's the perfect size for my hands and its not to big in the pocket. I love the look and build of the 705/710. Probably my favorite Benchmade design.- sowilde

Beats
Beats are crap. If you are going to spend 300-400 on a pair of headphones, there are so many other headphones that are better/cooler/more durable/more fun to listen to... etc.. My recent fav is the Parrot Zik. About 10x cooler then beats ever will be...- sowilde

Thanks for the feedback (and the coupon code :D). If you are putting them in between the Shure/AKG, that is exactly what i am looking for. I need something with a neutral/flat response. I don't have a need for them to be portable since i just use my IEM for school/portable and my incase for...- sowilde

Can't decide on a new set of closed headphones (upgrade from sennheiser hd280 pro)
I just posted in another thread looking for a replacement for my HD280pros. I was looking at the Audio Technica M50, but read keanex's review on the NVX XPT100 (very similar to the Brainwavz HM5 that MalVeauX mentioned) and started looking them up. I haven't heard either so can't speak to the...- sowilde

Nice review. How would something like this compare to an M50? I recently lost my pair of HD280pro so im looking for a new pair of big monitors and so my first thought of a replacement was the M50 Quote:- sowilde

New Guy Needing Some Help Picking The Right Headphones
I would recommend the following: Grado SR225 Shure SRH840 Audio Technica M50 My personal opinion would be to go with the M50, especially since you are just getting into higher-end headphones. These will become a standard for all other headphones. *** Edit *** just checked my...- sowilde
