Well just received these today and they'll be heading back as well. The cups simply aren't deep enough for my ears, a problem I don't recall having with the Citiscape Uptowns, so I'll be sticking with those. This is indeed an upgrade from the Uptowns though, and this is pre-burn in. ...- Slow Kanada

UE 6000 passive mode not working??
Send them back. The headphones are advertised as having a passive mode along with the active mode. Yours effectively do not. You've received a faulty product and deserve either your money back or the product you thought you bought.- Slow Kanada

Can't tell the difference between ATH-M50s and ipod earbuds...
Try to just take your time listening to them. Load up some of your favorite tracks and just relax. After some time, go back to the iPod buds and see which you like better. Yes, there should be enough of a seal that sound should not significantly leak out. I don't see anything wrong...- Slow Kanada

The headphones themselves are not entirely responsible for the type of sound you're getting. What are you using them out of? What quality are the files you're playing? Are you using any sort of amplification? Personally, I don't always notice an immediate difference between a certain pair...- Slow Kanada
