Hi,   This is possibly a silly question.   Does the L21 adapter coax cable work with the first gen X3's? I only ask as they specifically state X3 - II in the marketing material?   Steve

I've just bought one of these for £149 and am stunned at its capability. I use a Fiio X3 as source through VTL and XTC amps and KEF Reference speakers. For the price it's astonishing and more listenable than my Naim CD5x. I haven't even tried the headphone socket yet. Remarkable!

AKG 450/451's are about £40/50 over here in Blighty and excellent. Good bass as well.

Not tried gapless but resume mode working fine. I like it. It does feel more stable and sound signature excellent.   Can't really tell much difference in sound between 3.0 exfat, 3.2 or this but I prefer it to 3.0. Maybe a touch more clarity or maybe my imagination.

Me too. 'Im on 3.0 exfat and have had to switch last track off as it plays then plays a track off the internal memory. As much as I like the Yessongs version of Perpetual Change there are only so many times in a day. Haven't tried 3.2 yet but do prefer the exfat sound to 3.0.
