Has anyone change the driver element of Beyer haedphones?

Somebody sent me a private message. At least I did receive a notification email about it. However, I cannot see any new messages. The question was about how to open the earcup. Unfortunately I cannot remember anymore how it is done. I am sorry that I cannot help you here.

    TrekStor vibez going flash.

The HD of my Vibez died four weeks ago. Since then I 've been waiting for a new replacement. Today I received a message from the Finnish representant that most propably they don't receive any more new ones in the near future.

    Yamamoto Sound Craft HA-02

My source has been Meridian 506. Normal listening volumes are around 8-9. When pot is turned fully left, the right channel is totally quiet (as it should be) and the right channel is "quite" loud (it shouldn't be). There are some minor balance problems elsewhere as well. Not good at all...

I have loaned this amp from a local dealer for a few days. I am looking for a new amp for my RS-1. So far this amp sounds better than anything I have tried so far - I haven't tried many. I am pleased with this amp, but the hum DOES irritate me too. In the first place my MingDa MC66-AE did...

    TrekStor Vibez

I use my Vibez in car and at my cottage as the main source. In my car I use it as a preamplifier (since I have a direct line in to power amp). Works well without any problems.

Quite many of us use our own ears to determine how to reach the best SQ. I don't have any idea either how to find the zero gain setting.

looking for MP3 player with a decent line-out?

My apologies to Vinnie for misspelling his name. Since I don't want to get into an endless debate, I will jump off here. Bye!

looking for MP3 player with a decent line-out?

Epaludo, I did read your edit in post 24#. However i did not quote it since i did already comment the same issue in my reply. You are playing with words. And seems like you are not understanding the full meaning of those words. Zero gain does not mean "no amplification". Zero gain does...

Epaludo, Quote: If the line out signal is amplified or not is beyond my knowledge. Line out signal IS amplified. Quote: What i'm saying is that the line out bypass the internal amp. Wrong. Line out does not bypass the internal amp. I'm afraid I am not the best person...
