    Westone ES50, A Make-over of Westone's Flagship Custom IEM

Candy Red would be a better match to Char's red, it's a more primary, vibrant red. Pinot Noir's color kinda varies depending on the light, it can look bright reddish/pink in bright light, or a nice dark wine red in low light.

    Westone ES50, A Make-over of Westone's Flagship Custom IEM

The left is Candy Blue, the right is Pinot Noir, the deeper red of the Pinot Noir actually matches Candy Blue better than Candy Red, in my opinion.   Westone's new product lines are identical at their core, the UM series got new shelling and they changed to MMCX connectors across the board...

    Westone ES50, A Make-over of Westone's Flagship Custom IEM

Just received my ES50s yesterday, fit was great, got them done at a Hear For Life location in Ontario, Canada.   Here are some pics:     New, orange, casing, vs the old clear/black one. I'd have preferred the black one, but this has its own sort of charm I suppose. I also threw in one of...

    Help getting first turntable

Don't bother with USB turntables or turntables with built in phono pre amps, almost all of them are implemented poorly and the extra technology added in doesn't justify the price. If you're looking at modern turntables, the Rega and Pro-Ject tables mentioned above are good deals. You can even...

Technics 1200 mk II vs Rega Planar 3 with rb300 tonearm

Finally have the money to throw down for my first turntable, and these are my choices. The tech1200 is used with some surface wear, but should be in good working shape otherwise, I'll probably throw a Shure M97xE on it. The Rega Planar 3 has the new and renowned rb300 tonearm and I'll probably...

    Entry-level turntable

So I'm looking to get a cheap turntable and start a vinyl collection. However, I don't know much at all about turntables, so I was wondering if this would be a good starting point:  ...

Toronto Meet - Sunday March 6th

@ canadianballer   You don't need to bring gear to attend, I'm going to be showing up empty handed as all my gear is accounted for by other head-fiers.

Toronto Meet - Sunday March 6th

I should be up for this one, had to pass on the last one because of school, depending on the date and my surrounding timetable, I might stand a better chance for this one. All I have to offer is a pair of HD650s, but I see that's already on the list, so barring new gear between now and then...

    Another Toronto/GTA meet?

It'd be my first time to a meet, late November would be awesome, just after I finish all my projects, right before exams.
