Alternatives for Triplefi 10's under 160$
I have the triple fi's and the phonak pfe 012 and I would say take a look at the pfe's more comfortable, cheaper and good sound...not as good as the triple fi's but very good sound.- seanmo

Looking for good rap, metal, techno for cardio workouts
ok, based on another thread I listened to some crystal method - tweekend...heck yeah, that will do nicely. Also listened to some five finger death punch...kind of entertaining. My search for new gym stuff is turning into a full on musical journey ;) -

Looking for good rap, metal, techno for cardio workouts
so I've started hitting the gym lately after a long absence and enjoying listening to music on my audeo PFE 012's while I do cardio workouts. I normally listen to mellower stuff and acoustic indie/low-fi type stuff (iron&wine, jack johnson, horse feathers, the shins, etc) but I find myself... -
Phonak Audeo (PFE) Thread
the cord has a lot of memory and gets twisted easily...and agreed that it doesn't like to be wrapped up to put in a case. No problems for me staying over my ears though...I tried the phonak ear guides which I had purchased previously, but really don't need them. I do wish the cord was better...- seanmo

Need new earphones: Torn between Tier 2C and 2B reviews
If you're ok with used I would try and score used triple fi's for $120-140ish...fit is often an issue with them though. Ive tried a few IEM's around $100 and they have the best sound quality around that price for my ears. The hje900's are very good but hard to find(fs forum has them every now...- seanmo

Why is creating a playlist for a Rbox'd Clip+ so difficult?
@stattsof - some music for my gym playlist I only have in that folder, other stuff I have the album on the DAP as well. To prevent 'doubling up' in the database, I have been dragging mp3's into my 'workout' folder and then changing all of the id3 tags for artist (since I normally navigatte my...- seanmo

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
the bass does sound different to my ears, one is a dynamic one is a BA. The PFE is more punchy and tight but still very present...with the green filters I definitely wouldn't call them bass light. The 215's were a bass heavy IEM to my ears and the bass was very strong but not sloppy or...- seanmo

New Shure SE215 - First Impressions
I had the 215's and never fell in love with their sound signature. The lack of high end drove me nuts. I bought the 022's while I had the 215's and had them both briefly before I sold the 215's. I much preferred the PFE's to the 215's. The bass is better and the soundstage a little wider on...- seanmo

Why is creating a playlist for a Rbox'd Clip+ so difficult?
yes I think it will...I've done the folder thing and just used mp3 tag to change the artist on each of the songs to 'workout' that way I don't have copies of the same songs in my database- seanmo
