Comment by 'rsbrsvp' on listing 'Mint MASS-Kobo 394ii amp'
By the way- if you want more power- like the 465, more warmth- like the 465, and a remote for the volume, put a tube preamp behind it. I'm not saying that it will sound exactly like the 465 of course- but more in that direction at a fraction of the cost. In my opinion the combination of the...- rsbrsvp

Comment by 'rsbrsvp' on listing 'Mint MASS-Kobo 394ii amp'
I've owned the OOR/Hypsos, the CFA-3 maxed out, the audio-gd HE-9, and this bests them all- by A LOT. Honestly- even the claim of the seller that the bigger brother- the 465 is better- is not absolutely true. I have PM'ed someone who has heard both extensively and he said the 465 is more...- rsbrsvp

Ferrum WANDLA - Impressions Thread
Would Wandla owners call the Wandla Hypsos combination "meaty, thick, high tonal coloration, rich, dark" sounding (in any of the filter settings) or would this be inaccurate? Looking for a descriprion of tone and timber as it is the main issue for headphone listening for me...- rsbrsvp

Musician Taurus R2R DAC
The comparison I want to hear is the Taurus VS audio-gd R7-HE MK3. Both meaty sounding, thicker sounding- which is the style I like.- rsbrsvp

New Audio-gd R-7, R-7HE R-8, R-27, R-27HE, R-28 Flagship Resistor Ladder DACs and DAC/amps
The DAC I'm interested in hearing vs the R7HE MK3 is the Musician Taurus. It has built in OXCO already and even if they are not up to the speck of a After Dark, internal OXCO loose almost nothing in transfer while external ones loose some effectiveness due to the distance, travel, resistance...- rsbrsvp
