Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

I paired my 1060's with the Xduoo X10 DAC and a Fiio e17 dac/amp. Together they sound phenomenal. I was listening to one of my favorite songs and kept hearing an annoying distortion during quiet parts. Of course I thought it was the 1060's, but after a few tests, ruled them out. Next came the...

I just got a pair from Costco.com for 69.99 ($10 off special). They arrived today, and I gotta say, this review is on point. I own several earphones, always looking for that "perfect" sound reproduction. I have to say, I'm done looking. In fact, I'm getting another pair as backup before Costco...

NEWS: Beats in a lawsuit with Yamaha

Yamaha's sound beats (pun) the Beats hands down.  If we're going by sonic merits, Yamaha should win by default!  I auditioned the Pro 400 and 500s a week ago, and they DO look a lot like the Studios...all glossy and fingerprint prone.  Yamaha might lose this one...and it will be for the better. ...
