I coming from Essence ST.. and this is way better and more powerful.. i also got the 4490 built in card..

its needs a mid gain setting.. i need to be very careful with the sound levels..

Had long listen session last weekend.. think it was like 1am to possible 3am on the volume knob at high gain with 250 ohms DT770.

Wish it had middle gain setting. I get tired in my ears on the high setting.. and low settings is barely enough on 250ohm DT770.

i ordered this.. can someone explain how it works when you connect powered monitors to the preamp and have headphone equipped.. No sound in headphones when monitors powered? When monitors are connected but off? You get sound in headphone?

Ye it should but apparently this guy had some problem, so i dont know really. Also Asus Essence 2 soundcard is not compatible with ryzen boards, so there is something going on with those boards, very strange.

anyone using this with ryzen computer? some review mention it got problem witth ryzen motherboards.

anyone tried RCA out? It got 124 SNR compared to 117 SNR headphone out. Easy to hear different?

I had to bend my dt770 headband a little, they were pressuring like one spot on my head so was annoying after a while. Now they are super comfy.

Went from siberia v2 to premium dt770 250ohm and its very big different, sure nothing is wrong with your k701? Siberia was a good phone to position enemies, i give them that. Though my beyers are better on everything, even comfort.
