Best amp for HD650 under $100 ?
I would be quite happy with a lambo, even on pump gas. I understand that the 650s have far more potential than what is achievable with a 100 bucks amp, but the budget has been set, and the goal wasnt to get the best amp, neither to get the best one in means of price-to-performance ratio...- rauschie

Best amp for HD650 under $100 ?
The only problem with scotch is that the recipient of the amp was given whiskey for the last 10 of his birthdays, otherwise i wouldn't have bothered :)- rauschie

Best amp for HD650 under $100 ?
Thank you for all the answers, I ended up buying a relatively unknown model from a local builder a bit above the budget, and it turned out to be pretty decent for the price.- rauschie

Best amp for HD650 under $100 ?
I know that this topic should have been covered a few times, but i'm running out of ideas. Bravos and Indeeds won't do it, because it also has to be a decent looking one (ok, let's just say it has to have a case, it will be a gift). I dont want the fiio E9 because of the hole on it's top...- rauschie

HD580
Don't get me wrong, as i already wrote, the 580' superiority was obvious from the first moment, but in a few regards, i feel that they could be better. Anyway, thanks for the reply, as soon as i get the amp, i will know a lot more. I will share my thoughts, unti then, i guess i should focus on...- rauschie

HD580
Hi all! I've got the 580's for almost a month now, so i would like to share my impressions and ask a few questions. First of all, my first decent phones were the hd555s, which i bought about three years ago, but after the first listening it was obvious that the 580's play in a different...- rauschie

Millett "Starving Student" hybrid amp
Hy all! I am wondering how the SS would compare to a bravo v2? Has anyone tried both? I could get them for roughly about the same price. Actually, the materials for the SS would be a bit more expensive than the bravo completely assembled. The headphones to drive are HD580's, and sometimes my...- rauschie

Millett "Starving Student" hybrid amp
Hello guys, I'm quite certain that I'm not the first one asking this, but I don't have time to read 300 pages, so If there is already an answer in the forum, please just link it then ignore me, but now let me have this absolutely lame question: I'm planning to build this amp, I already have the...- rauschie
