go with TF10, you can't be wrong with that ... i've got one of klipsch product, and I'm somewhat dissapointed with them 

anybody ever tried AIMP ? v2 or v3 ? v3 have asio and wasapi builtin, but ever since v2 it already support 32bit software mixing, to my ears, it sounded better than winamp, windows media player, foobar, even jriver ...

Okay, just my other two cents :) With $1000 you can buy a really nice full sized circumaural headphone (thinking about HE500, as they're my next target), and a really nice DAC, and a really nice full sized AMP (Valhalla ? :P) Custom ? Just one custom IEM, and probably one sub-standard...
