Audeze SINE Series
From Tyll's review @ InnerFidelity; "Initially, the SINE caliper pressure on my ears was a bit too much. The good news is that if you grab the headband at either end—not the ear cups or extender arms—you can stretch out the internal spring steel part fairly readily. Do it carefully in a few...- Paul Meakin

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
It's probably too small a volume for them to care, given how apathetic the large parts house are with the 'small' order that Alex wanted to place (from their perspective, not Schiit's). I'd place a small wager that AD's ordering unit is a shipping pallet of devices, if not more. In business...- Paul Meakin

I would have thought you'd be ok (I have the M); It drives the HD-650 well and they're not the easiest headphones to control. They sound terrible when badly amped.- Paul Meakin

Schiit Happened: The Story of the World's Most Improbable Start-Up
Something like this might help. They're a German company, but if they're not available in the US I'd guess that there is a local manufacturer that has an equivalent. A chat with a music instrument store should clear that up. It's not too expensive, £40-60 in the UK. Shure and others make...- Paul Meakin

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
I also use TH900s, although my are unmodded, and completely agree with your comment. I find I have to use some equalisation with the TH900s as otherwise they sound somewhat boosted in both the bass and treble compared with my other DACs; these both use TI/Burr Brown DAC chips and seem to mesh...- Paul Meakin

Fender IEM (Aurisonics) Impressions, Reviews & Discussions Thread
Exactly. They really should be regarded as a separate series of headphones, which is presumably part of the thinking behind the change in branding, i.e. to avoid any confusion between the Aurisonics and Fender models.- Paul Meakin

The Fender versions are supposedly all retuned from what I've read. It may have been posted earlier in this thread.- Paul Meakin

Audeze SINE Series
Thanks, they're sounding like a good complement to my TH-900s. They are quite v-shaped, although I find this an issue mostly with my Chord Mojo. How's the treble and PRAT with the Sine?- Paul Meakin

I used to work for a Hifi retailer long ago and found that some musicians are not the best judges of a system's musical performance; they tend to focus on the sound of the instrument they play, rather than listening to the music as a whole.- Paul Meakin

He also claimed the iPhone 5 sounds great. He must have low standards, as the one I own is poor. Both the Mojo and my Cowon Plenue M stomp all over it, and I'm not someone that is inclined to over hype differences.- Paul Meakin
