HAHA... Finally got the chance t sit down with the MM, short of a better word, it's beautiful!!!  I have tried out the Modi using The PanAm, the sound was warmer due to the tubes, but as soon as I plug in the Magni, I have gotten a just as good quality as The PanAm, it takes a little while to...

  Hmm... I don't think the Magni + Modi would be the weakest link... I believe the headphone will be your weakest link... I suggest that you go try and audit a pair of cans you like, then look for a amp/DAC setup that will suit you.    But do you have a lot of DSD files? Otherwise, looks to...

I realized that the EF2A uses the same tubes as the PanAm, I just wonder if anybody try any other tubes like the Russian tubes? A friend of mine passed me some Peking tubes, 6J1 matched pairs, I am just waiting to try them out this weekend...

I have ordered mine, but it is still in the mail...    Looks like I have no chance to try it out this week again...
