Any love for the Activo CT10?
Has anyone figured out how to edit playlists on a computer? I've found I cannot copy m3u playlists to the player's internal memory, they just show up as blank. Simply copying a playlist the CT10 creates to the computer then back to the CT10 results in a blank file. However, playlists can be...- OutlandMetro

Something else I was thinking about is has anyone disassembled a CT10? I'd be curious to see what battery it's using.- OutlandMetro

Any love for the Activo CT10?
I've been playing around with this DAP, and it's pretty neat. However, I can't figure out how to save playlists. I can put and play M3U playlists on the device just fine, and when I add songs to them on the device the CT10 sees the new songs. But when I copy the playlists back to the computer...- OutlandMetro

Sony NW-A50 Series
FWIW, I sent in my A55 for the warranty, and Sony just refunded my original purchase. They told me that it is no longer available, so anything being sold now must be old stock.- OutlandMetro

Sony NW-A50 Series
Could anyone else please check their NW-A55 for this symptom? I may send it in for warranty. One person in this thread has said it's normal, and two others have said it's nonexistant. To be clear, the problem is a quick fade-in (and fade-out) upon pressing the play/pause button. Sometimes it...- OutlandMetro

Sony NW-A50 Series
Hmm... The difference is clear for me when comparing against any other DAP. Sometimes it fades in left channel first, sometimes right channel, sometimes it's very quick, but it's always there. It's a clear difference (for me) compared to the abrupt stop/start of other digital audio devices. In...- OutlandMetro

After some more listening, while (anecdotally) less, the fade-in is still present. Oh well, I might have to move on to another player. Even my old CD Walkman doesn't have any similar problem. What a shame, the player is otherwise perfect.- OutlandMetro

Sony NW-A50 Series
I tried installing WalkmanOne to see if it would help with the fade-in issue (WM1Z tuning), since I was considering moving on from the player due to this fade-in issue. It appears the custom firmware resolves the problem, at least partially. The fade-in is minimized, if not removed completely...- OutlandMetro

Sony NW-A50 Series
How strange... It's certainly there for me. I got one of the last production runs on Amazon, it sold out almost immediately after I ordered mine and it took about two months to ship.- OutlandMetro

When you press play/pause, the audio will fade-in, usually unequally (left or right first) like an MP3 player from 2002. It's very quick, but it's there.- OutlandMetro

What a shame!! The only problem I would remove if I could on the A50, is the audio fade-in. Apart from that, it's almost perfect.- OutlandMetro

On my end it's only available from 3rd party sellers now, not Amazon JP itself.- OutlandMetro
