Comfort / Fit issues : Vsonic GR07 or Hifiman RE-262
I'm one of those people that sold their RE-262 because of the fit and jumped to GR07 and I say yes, they do. For no particular reason, I could not obtain a decent fit with RE-262s. They were the first IEMs I was having an hard time with. I had some fit issues with my ATH-CK10s but I figured them...- Nerolucido

Thanks for your input. As far as I can see, the getter over here is "O" shaped. I'll try to get a picture later, don't expect it to be meaningful though.- Nerolucido

Thanks Daly. Next to the black dots there's a "WP" writing in black, overlapping the first two white letters. And, paradoxper, what about the blackplates you've got? How do they fare against the clear tops?- Nerolucido

Schiit Lyr - The tube rolling thread
Hi, I've bought this one on ebay and I was wondering if its the real thing: Wish I could provide more pics but all I have is a awful HTC HD2 that makes very blurry and unnatural photos. This tube has the Brown Lorenz logo, the "Made in germany" print on the other side, grey shields. It came as...- Nerolucido

Hi, what kind of blackplate have you got? big D getter maybe? I'm trying to figure out how many "blackplates" are out there. And if you don't mind, can you reveal where did you find them? :)- Nerolucido

Sadly, there are actually some Lorenz PCC88 up for sale, but they're SEL, not Stuttgart. Should I try harder?- Nerolucido

New Adam Monitors
I believe they're just trying to cut corners by making acceptable compromises. Soundwise they should be very comparable to the AX series. I own the A3Xs and I'm very happy with them, but had I known about the incoming F series, I'd have waited to pull the trigger on the F5s. What we need is...- Nerolucido

Adam A3X or Genelec 8020A ?
Thank you for your input! I've decided on the Adams eventually. They're being advertised as "6 months old, mint" and at €300 pr. they're a steal aren't they. As a long-time A3X user, I was wondering if you could give me some advice on the desktop stands that are meant to be used with them: do... -
Adam A3X or Genelec 8020A ?
Hi, fellow headfiers. I'm willing to buy some nearfield active monitors to use on my desktop for low-level music listening, games, movies. I've already ruled out passive speakers (reason: no reliable amp), Yamaha studio monitors (reason: too big for my desk) and anything isn't widely available...- Nerolucido

Thank you Lord Soth...but I'd rather not test my luck on ebay, because when I've learned the hard way what is the risk involved in buying tubes from private sellers. I'm afraid E188CCs are a bit beyond my reach... especially when you have to buy them in Europe. Is there any other kind of tube...- Nerolucido
