A tip. TS are better suited for the sound signature in my opinion. You should try them instead of the included T.

Mh1c tips are easy to get on FA-4E. Sensorcoms should be trimmed a few mm. Then they fit after a lesser struggle. I prefer meelec balanced biflanges but I know that I'm pretty much the only one here who finds that they're superior in pretty much every aspect.

I found that the 4s is a pretty decent source for a smartphone overall. Bass control is lacking but otherwise decent. About on par with Galaxy s4 which has better bass but a bit grainy mids. LG G3 is a disaster.

They are sensitive when it comes to output impedance. Try adding 75-100 Ohms and hear the sound deteriotate to something awful. At least the ASG-2.

Personally I liked the ASG-2 better with flatter, faster sources as that really did focus the mids and bring out more details in the upper mids. Using warmer sources could be more relaxing but personally I'd go for a pretty neutral source and amp for the ASG-2. I have never heard any Schiit amp...
