    Philips Fidelio X2 vs HE-400: A comparison.

X2, positional sound is better on them. The he-400 sound's more "open" but their sound cues are not ideal for gaming (not accurate, back sound isn't poitraited accurately).

Philips Fidelio X2 : A Review by Baycode

Really I just wanted some more feedback, I already searched all this thread before (read also all the review on this site). Some seam to imply that it is very detailed while other people say that even if they are detailed they are smooth and non fatiguing. The mid-range seems forward for...

**Hifiman HE-400 Impressions and Discussion Thread**

I wanted to thank all the guys that told me to keep listening to the HE 400. I probably need some time to get use to the sound of new headphones.    -The vocals are much less intimate than the ones on the Senn HD 598, sometimes they even have less extension but overall have a better clarity...

++ FULL-SIZE HEADPHONE RECOMMENDATIONS THREAD++ CLOSED: Please post a thread in the Introductions, Help and Advice forum

Hi guys, I'm looking for some HP on the 400$ price range (or less), They should have nice bass (I'm not a bass-head) with good extension, detailed mids, good instrument separation, no sibilant highs nor rolled off and good soundstage. I'll use my Asus Xonar Essence STX as amp. They need to...

Sennheiser HD 598, got some problem with integrated audio

I tried my HD 598 on my Netbook (asus 1015pn) and the vocals were still not sharp as you should expect from this cans and with some songs I noticed a lot of distorsion (e.g: My Dads Gone Crazy - Eminem) With the Nexus using "powerAMP" the vocals are good, the sound stage is acceptable, overall...
