CanJam SoCal 2023 Impressions Thread
Just wanted to pile on and also say how wonderful the Sennheiser folks were. It’s easy not to be when you hold the keys to an HE1. But @ericpalonen was fantastic, as were the rest of their team at the table. Also, i don’t know what they’re putting in the water over at Headphones.com. But every...- Mkubota1

Player is in excellent condition. There are a few very small rub marks on the sharp corners near the volume knob. The screen is perfect; as is the glass back. Just cleaning house of things I no longer use! Price is firm and includes Paypal and shipping to the U.S.- Mkubota1

Drop + JVC HA-FDX1 Dual Carbon IEM...available in the US!
That was me. I can’t stress enough that the T2Pro is way too bright for me without foam (Comply TS) tips. The foamies arguably transform them into a different IEM. So while the FDX1 may be less forgiving than the T2P, it’s not because of brightness. It’s because of better detail and resolution...- Mkubota1

Drop + JVC HA-FDX1 Dual Carbon IEM...available in the US!
I have the P1 on loan from a buddy, and there are a few things about its tonality that bug me a tiny bit: There seems to be something missing in the lower treble area; while at the same time I swear I hear a spike way up like around 15-16KHz- according to my eq and admittedly at the upper...- Mkubota1

Drop + JVC HA-FDX1 Dual Carbon IEM...available in the US!
JVC HA-FDX1 A Review… sorta. More like a few opinions and observations. Good: Excellent resolution, neutral-plus tonality, dynamic driver bass, A+ hardware, and of course- tunability. Meh: Nozzles just a tad on the large side, a bit heavy. Given: Hardware is functionally identical to the...- Mkubota1

Massdrop x NuForce EDC3 IEM
I got a copy of these for eval and sent CEETEE some brief impressions: Massdrop EDC3: Tonally, these are almost perfect. They might be a bit soft up top for my tastes- (you know) my personal preference leans toward a bit of lower-treble bite ala Noble Savant. I like stuff on the bright or even...- Mkubota1

Reply to review by 'Mkubota1' on item 'Massdrop x NuForce EDC3'
My listening impressions are darn-near identical. I'm a bit of a treble-head too, so I think many will find the level of high frequencies on the EDC3 to be perfect. @airil I've heard the 1MORE Triple once, and from my notes I'd say that the 1MORE is a bit more "fun" sounding (more treble...- Mkubota1

InEarZ (Fisher Hearing) Custom Remold Owner's Thread
I suspect the site is set up so that you place your order (CIEM or reshell) via the form from this page: https://www.inearz.com/how-to-order. But that doesn't really help if you just want "parts". You can probably just email Kaysen Fisher <KAYSEN@fisherhearing.com>, tell her what you want...- Mkubota1
